Strictly Tango NYC offers a unique tango experience for the LGBT community and their allies in the NYC area. We teach traditional Argentine tango in an open environment that encourages you to dance beyond the traditional male/leader and female/follower roles. These gender roles dissolve so you can feel comfortable to choose freely what role to dance and who to dance with.  We design our classes around the fundamentals so that you can begin to enjoy the tango dance experience immediately! Whether you’re straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender, you will enjoy dancing tango without traditional gender fixed roles. Rainbow Tango promises a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Experienced dancers as well as beginners are welcome. Cash Bar. No partner necessary, but wear comfortable shoes – smooth soles preferred.
